I ♥ Faces: Let's Hear it for the Boys

After winning the Championship game grandson and grandma embrace. Kyle is a senior in high school and this was his last game. His grandmother has homeschooled him since Kindergarten, and since Pop Pop died from cancer 5 years ago, they have shared the same home. Pop Pop was one of Kyle's first basketball coaches and also helped homeschool Kyle. Kyle was the tournament MVP for his team.

I am not a photographer. I am someone who likes to take pictures. I like to take pics of family and friends playing sports or playing music or just goofing around. So when a friend asked if I could take some pictures of her baby I was so stressed out. I think my daughters pictures came out better than mine, but she chose this one to go on his announcement card.

I have learned a lot this year and I'm hoping I will continue learning by posting more pictures to the different blogs that give us an opportunity to practice. Take a moment to look at the other entries by clicking the button below.

I heart Faces

We did a lot this summer but the most important was going to visit my grandmother.  We had not been out west for 18months and the change was pretty big. She will be 87 in December if the Lord does not bring her home.  She remembered me and after a couple of days remembered my children. It didn't really hit me until I got home and was sorting through pictures that this is probably the last picture I will have of my children with their great-grandmother. It made me sad. So although these pictures are not the best they will probably always be among my favorites.

My husband spent all day building a pyramid and let the little boys jump on it. He didn't think they were destroying it properly so he thought he would show them how it was done.
